I am am considering a Microtech ECU and most likely will be purchaisng one soon. And I have heard that there are a few parts that the Microtech doesnt need/use for the engine. It only needs like some major sensors and some more important things.


My question is, does the Microtech ECU need the "rats nest" (i guess thats what it is, a maze a vacuum fittings and hoses)? This would be for an S$ TII, in case you need to know.

Answer, no it doesn't need it. In fact all of those solenoids are rendered pretty useless.
