MicroTech Powered Hits the TRACK!!!!!!

If any of you have followed my threads
you would know I've been building my car for sometime

anyways tonight I went to the Drag Strip
1ST Time
@14 PSI and with a bit of clutch slippage in 2RD and 3RD
never hit fourth gear

Best time= 12.60@111.87
with a 1.693 60' Foot
Yes Micky Thompson E.T Street tires ROCK!
Once I get the ACT extreme installed this Saturday
I should run low low 12's

Full Slip
60' ... 1.693
330 ... 5.235
1/8 ... 8.113
MPH ... 84.04
1000 ... 10.577
1/4 ... 12.605
MPH ... 111.87

I've yet to take it to the Dyno(soon I will when Rolo gets back from Australia for the Microtech seminar)

and the car was not even road tunned lol

Just Idle tunned
make a run "how did that feel?" describe and retune

I must give credit to not only my Tuner- CFT
but also Jon at rxengineering for supplying a kick *** custom "base map" that was a great foundation for my tuner to work with

The car runs flawless no hicups or hestitation, backfires, black smoke, knocking, surging
nothing smooth as silk!
and I get great MPG for all the Mods I have to boot

1000000000000000% Times better then the POS E6K
I had before ,Which Backfired, bouncing Tach, smoked black, knocked and Blew My motors etc

Before going to the track
My friend wanted to try out his car vs mine
He has stock ECU,AFM with a NPR Front mount
60-1 Hi-FI Turbo
720cc secondarys
and racing beat exhuast system

When I was finishing my car he said he was going to beat me with a stock ECU
We hit the road I was behind him
waited till he punched it in 2nd

He did and I left him like he was a Yugo!
no yoke (he was shocked to say the least)

Naw a Turbonetics T66 is just fine lol

I need a engine torque brace
now that I have a new Super Heavy duty clutch
I can feel the engine flex now

way more torque now! with the new clutch
no more slipping

something is odd how did you hit 111 MPH in 3rd gear ?

i was maxing out 100MPH in 3rd gear in my S5 T2.... on my FD i had to shift to 4th gear to hit the 118 mph trap. you have like 3.90 gears or something ???

I had 26x10.5 ET streets(borrowed)
and my plain street tires are 255/50/16 and I can hit
110 in 3RD in those

Yes I do want to hit fourth so I can gain more MPH
I should now that I fixed my slipping clutch problem

I'll be using 245/50/16 Nitto DDR's at the next event

stay tuned

Rolo got plenty of practice making power with T66's on my dyno when he was out here.
You should have that thing kicking *** when he gets his hands on it.Just don't let him near the boost controller!!!!
LOL
Tell Rolo that you want it tuned Aussie style not Puerto Rican style. He'll know what you mean
LOL

Actually Chris
that was my friend Eliomar's TII
damm word spreads fast lol

I'll soon take my car to the Dyno
except saturday I had a mishap

The Hood flew up on me and smashed the windshield
and also ruined the TII hood
so now I got to fix that before anything else now

BTW I went Friday to the track
with the new clutch, but this time with just plain street tires
(255/50/16 ToYo Proxies)

I did 12.7@114 with a 2.1 60' @ 14PSI

So with ET streets again or DR's and A Dyno Tune at the same PSI
I should hit low 12's if not high 11's or better

Rolo I also tunned a Silvia/240SX the same day as my Friends TII
482rwhp at 20PSI

The seminar kicked *** he tells me

Laterz
