Microtech LT8 info?

Hi, i've been considering getting a microtech but ive had trouble getting answers to a few of my questions. I read that the lt8 comes programmed for all stock sensors from the, does this mean that most of the rx-7 ones are running the stock AFM? If not, do they use the stock pressure sensor as the MAP, or do i have to purchase a new one?

Im also not clear abou thow the injectors work, could i just run all 4 together at all times if i had somethign like 4 x 720 or even 2x 720, 2x 890 or does staging them work better? (better resolution at low load/rpm?) Im interested in getting good fuel economy because it is a daily driver.

Will the lt8 accept and datalog an input from an LM-1 wideband without being programmed for it from the factory?

Im also curious how it manages cold starts, can the car hold idle when cold? Can it drive right away or does it stall? How about loads at idle such as alternator, or p/s?

Basically Im gonna be running this car as a daily driver so id liek to know if the microtech can do everything i need well enough or is haltech a better choice?

Thanks,
Jakob

BTW, this is going on a stock S5 13BT with either stock turbo or FD twins.

Ys, the LT8 come program to run your RX. It uses the xisting sensors on your car (water temp, air temp, tps). You will not need the AFM or the pressure sensor. The Microtech has a built in MAP sensor.

On the injectors, you can hook up to 4 to a bank (as long as they are the same impedance), or you can hook up 2 (what ever you decide) on the first bank and 2 others on the second bank. I have them staged (550 & 1000).
Data loging with the LM 1 is not posible as the signal is not linear (0-1v = 10-20 AFR). I tried and call Microtech on this).

Cold starts are not a problem. I have added fuel at different temp until it reaches operating temp and then I do not add anymore. Idle is1500 and when warm goes to 950.
I have notice that is I turn on the light the RPM drop some, so some adjustment needs to be done there. Also if you keep the A/C you will have to connected to the Microtechs input so it will know to add fuel when the A/C goes on.

As for good gas milage.... You can set it to run leaner at cruising speeds by means of the vacuum.

Hope this helped.
