Ok, so i had (have) a loose connection in the LT8 somewhere. So, i cut those stupid funny shaped screws off there, and pull out the board. I inspect all the solder joints, then turn it over to see if I can find anything else. Then i almost fall out of my chair laughing. Look what;s printed on the PCB, right next to the serial port:


EDIT: camera is junk. in the red box, it has "NEVER GIVE UP" printed in schematic type on the PCB

 

Can't read it, it's to blurry.

Yeah, they say all sorts of various things, mostly to defer people from trying to 'replicate' the ECU, which is more evident that they remove all labels from any chips/etc.

 

Clifford alarms also removes labels from their chips.

 

patman, do you think you can get a better quality pic of this?

 

probably. i'll use my girl's good digicam next time i have a few extra minutes.
