Map question

When I tried to adjust my load map, in the vacuum areas. It affected my idle. I tried to lean it out some, but then my car wouldnt start. Then I noticed that my load map was affecting the injector time of when the ecu is in crank mode.

Also, my driveability is suffering. With the 550's all around, the car would drive perfect. I then put the 1600's on, and tried adjusting the load map. NOthing. I got it to where driving it is possible. I have tried to raise the WOT point and also the MAP. But I still dont get the map, if im cruising and I punch it, the car will bog and break up. It isnt untill it actually hits boost, that the car runs fine.

if the load map adjusted your idle and you are in normal mode your TPS isnt calabrated correctly,

of course adjusting the load settings will effect cranking, the cranking value is a % added to the idle maps

it is all explained in the manual, you shouldnt be making changes with out reading the manual and understanding when you make a change what it will effect, the TPS should have been calabrated before the engine was even started.

the TPS is used to tell the ecu when the throttle is closed, the ecu then uses the idle maps for both fuel and ign,

I did read the manual, the tps was set before the engine was cranked, even though it doesnt matter. I just couldnt understand why adjusting the load map would make a difference in crank and idle.

the load map wont make a differnce to crank and idle when in normal mode,

if it is your tps is not set correctly and it is not using the idle map

on my car the cold start thing on the throttle body(the once that use the collant hose), when cold it slight hold the throttle open untill warm-up.
so yeah my idle map is not use when cold cranking, mt use load 0" instead.

You were right, upon further inspection, I noticed my tps wires were loose. So when the engine was idling it was constantly switching from idle to load, to pump1..
