Execlent!
glad to help dude,
That freight is pretty good for the price, 5 days to you!! not too bad, i wasnt expecting it to get to you till tuesday! beats the UPS $250 it would have only saved a day for 4x the price!
dont forget if there is any problems or you have some questions you can email me or ICQ 71622239 they are both on while im at work!!
Also just a little riminder to follow the wiring diagram exactly or you will have problems!

Theres always a Jokester.
Dale, Jon, could either of you guys relate the size of the LT-8 to the Haltech E6K? It look about the same size to me, but I dont know how big the Handset it.
just wondering if im going to have to modify my ECU bracket again.

I was surprised it was here to
I started installing it tonight. I have most of the wires layed out and just need to solder up the TPS, injectors, ignition coils, and intake temp sensor and the microtech will be all set in. I'm doing alot of cleaning up of the engine bay so I'm taking my time hopefully tomarrow i'll have it going.

Actually I just looked at your picture. Theres 13 pins across the top, and I figure the harnesses are atleast 2 pins tall, making for 26 wires.

4 for the CAS (seperate pin shielded wire)
8 - injectors
3 - TPS
1 - o2 sensor
2 - water sensor
2 - air temp
4 - ignition stuff i think
2 fuel pump
2 power/ground
maybe a couple more i can't htink of off the top of my head.. it's not bad though i can take a pic of my to this state and post them.

yea i looked for a tool to repin but the electronic stores were no help they told me that their were so many diffrent size pins I wasn't going to dick with it
so basically i'm soldering and heat shrinking all connections. plus double checking all my connections to make sure I don't f up The wiring diagram that comes with the microtech is simple. the wiring is so well labeled no one with some brains should have no problems.
My only problem i'm encountering is the fact i'm converting to bare block and i need bolts to fill my old omp slots and well it's sunday so I didn't get to a hardware store for them.
Dale - quick question.. since the wiper motor is tied in with the wiring harness.. am i going to have to rewire directly for that?

Snap on make the tool to remove the pins, i have one that has 6 points on it, the best $50 i have spent!!
Yes you will have to re wire the wiper motor, shouldnt be too hard, you could untape the factory loom and pull the wires for it out, or run new wires.
this is what i fitted a LT8 to on the weekend

this is my LT8 on my ski boat,

Its a Lewis hull 16ft long, with a 327 chev in it, judging by the injectors that i had to use im guessing it makes about 330hp which isnt too bad for a stocker with a mild cam,

I got a small tool set from snap on too. Different from dale's all-in-one tool, does the same thing. I can look up some part numbers if anyone is interested.
