How to tell the difference between LT8 And LT8s Internally and Externally

Hey,

I might be getting a microtech system and the person selling it is unsure of what model it is, does anyone know how to tell the difference between the lt8 and the lt8s externally? and internally, i read on a website the lt8 doesn't control timing and the lt8s does. Thanks

-Andrew

both lt8 and lt8scontrol ignition ,i dont think you can tell the difference until you wire it up.
and no s does not stand for small!!!!!!
the lt8s has a faster microprocessor and the word is that on rotary engines it does not make any difference which one do you use, i called microtech australia and asked them when i made my last batch of orders of microtechs, i wanted toknow if there was any advantages to upgrade to the lt8s or not.

lt8 is blue and says lt8. lt8s is blck and says lt8s. the s also has finer resolution and some other options that are not available with the lt8.

the LT8 can control ign, and is roughtly 8-9in long
the LT8s does everything the LT8 does and is around 6in long
