Question hi imp. or low imp. injectors?

I plan to buy the microtech EMS this month and I want to upgrade my injectors but I don't know if I need hi or low imp. I was planing to run 4 720cc injectors unless you guys recomend something else.

This is on a j-spec s5engine thats going in an s4 car.

The Microtech is stable to 1.5-2.5 Ohms, according to the manual. Dale says that they have 4 Amp injector drivers, which Ohm's Law says necessitates 3.5 Ohm injectors at 14 V. As resistance goes up, current goes down, so you can basically use any injector you want.

So mixing different imp injectors wouldn't be a problem?

Example:

2 high 550cc primary
2 low 1000cc secondary

?

Nope. As long as you wire the injectors in series (when you're doubling them up).

GSLSE injectors are 760cc (I know people say 680 but they flow 760)

850cc injectors can be bought from www.injector.com for about 90 bux each. They will require modification to fit into stock fuel rail.

Good link but , the gslse injectors are 680. They flow 680 cc. I had a pair blue printed at RC & they flow....680.

I have the print out that they gave me when they did them. I can try & dig it up if you want. They may be able to flow more if you up the duty cycle but, after you start to run them that hard, their not going to last long.

The link saabguy put up has low imp. 1600cc injectors for $110 each that BOLT RIGHT IN. Call the guy @ the phone # & tell him you want a pair for the 86-91 RX-7.

The I have seen 1600cc injector for that price before, but, Never ones that you don't have to mod the fuel rail for. Great deal!
