Microtech Difference betw the LT8 and LTX8?

Difference betw the LT8 and LTX8?

what is the difference? i need the one that will rewire my ignition setup. there is a problem in my main harness somewhere, not my engine harness. thanks.

LT-8 uses the stock coil ignitors
LTX-8 has the ignitors built in the box, you can run any coils you choose.

Any ignitorless coil you choose. FWIW, the recommended coil is the Bosch HEC715, which any Microtech dealer can source.
