Coolant temp sensor

I have a s5 turbo motor, and a lt10s. Where is the coolant temp sensor im supposed to hook up to. Is it the sensor on the side of the block or on the water fill neck? any help would be great, thanks.

Back of the water pump housing. That is the ECT. The sensor on the rear iron is for the dash gauge.

The AUX wires only go somewhere if you are using them.

To get your IGN 12V, I generally use the black/yellow wire at the trailing coil. But you can go directly to the ignition switch if you want.
