Correct. Note the yellow wire (TACH OUT) from the trailing coil shouldn't be cut at ALL. That's the tach signal...cut that and you lose your tach till you fix it!

Thanks! The yellow (tach out) wire runs off the trailing coil 2 right? From the Microtech diagram, there are only the 2 wires coming off the trailing coil 1, but 4 coming off the trailing coil 2 (2 of which I drew in my pic).
