wtf is up with these guys? the customer service is so incredibly bad that i'm not doing business with them anymore. i don't care how cheap the ecu's are...i'll just recommend people spend the extra $400 and get a better ecu from now on.

These threads are making me nervous since my LT8S just came in the mail... I absolutely now think that spending the money on something like a Motec M4 is worth it because of the wonderful customer support, not to mention having the best ECU's available. I passed on Haltech because of the poor ignition flexibility, and also the wolf because of the idiotic lack of datalogging... Once Wolf gets their head out of their asses with that situation, I definitely think they will take over haltech's dominance as the medium priced ECU for RX-7's. I think I might just end up selling this Microtech to get something more worthwhile.

what number are you calling and who did you buy it through.
i deal with microtech direct and they answer there phones between 1 pm and 5 pm sydney time . if you are calling outside thes hours they re not there to pick up or dont pick up.
mr dirt i think you should give it a chance you will like it especailly if you use the matrix mode , mine is running good and for the money i spent im getting great product. the only thing i dont like is the lack of hooking up a wide band onto the ltx8 , i hope they fixed it with the lt8s i know they did with the ltx12s cuz i have one for my 20b

Just the lack of seperate leading/trailing maps on the E6k/x... Has this been solved in other models? (E8, E11)
I know I will end up using the microtech, but really only because Im poor and dont have an extra $1000 to spend on an M4 right now (or even enough money to get my car finished soon as it sits, haha).

not exactly seperate maps in the e8, but you have a full split map that can go negative...so in effect, it has basically the same function.
