RI about microtech

is the wiring for a microtech the same for a 2nd and 3rd gen? I'm asking because i am going microtech and im getting a good deal on a lt8 that was on a 2nd gen and wanted to know if i could use the same wiring or if i need to order a new harness from microtech????

The ecu wont work on a 3rd gen. It needs to be reprogrammed.

how about the wiring harness? do i need to send the ecu back to microtech to reprogram it?

not sure about the harness but the ecu does need to go back to microtech to get reprogrammed. You can either send it on your own or go through a certified microtech dealer to get this done. I think people have had better experience doing this through a company.
