5500 rpm problem

I have a single turbo conversion with my FD. I currently run a LT8. My tuner did a street tune, but when I accelerate past 5500prm it supters to the point where it is almost like a rev limiter. I am able to get to 6500 - 7000 in 1st gear without this problem thought. Any suggestions?

are you monitering the afr's? what do they say? is it only under heavy load (can you slowly creep past w/o any problem?)

its always best to post your map here so that we see if you have any funky values. Please post the options map for the staging as well.

I reckon in the heavier gears its loading the engine up more and hitting a point in the map which hasnt been tuned and is either rich or lean.
you need to check your afrs, or better yet take it back to your so called tuner.
