well im buyin a zems from the second batch and wanted to know wat are the differences in both batches..?

will there be in any way possible to get software to control the zems on a handheld palm?? i mean the lap top is hot but wen ur on the road i would like somthin small to monitor it and change things..

The second batch uses our own design for the daughtercard and changes the adapter from a wire-adapter to a board.

If you can use a palm on a normal megasquirt running ms1/extra, then you can do it on the zems.

I don't know. We have never used the palm software. I know software exists, and that's about it.

I think renns wrote the software, or you could check over at msefi.com

They have a section for the palm software... I think the palm software may be for datalogging only, I don't know if it's capable of changing settings or not.

Does the megaview work with the megasquirt n spark? if so that could be an option.

 

PalmTune allows VE table editing on MS1 codes. PalmLog displays and datalogs runtime data for MS1 and MS2. PalmEdit allows editing of any MS1 config setting. See the Palm Software area on msefi.com for more info.

 

i got the a zames from the secon bath and was wondering wat verision of ms is it and all that im trying to set up my palm so i can use it

it depends on which run of zems units it came from...

In any case, you should flash 029w onto it, and tune using that.

thanx for answering my questions i got another ive been looking for it but can u point me in the right direction on rewiring the fuel pump to zems?? do i have to solder anything?

 

From the second batch, there is a hole on the adapter board labeled "FP"

The easiest thing to do is wire that to the "fuel pump test connector"

You will have to solder the wire to the board.
