Where to hook up Oil & Fuel Injection air bleeds?
Curious where you all are hooking up the oil and fuel injection air bleed nipples?
In factory form, they are drawing from metered air, between the MAF/AFM and TB, so that the computer can account for how much air they are drawing.
Most standalones (including our MS) doesn't use MAF/AFM, so just hooking them up to their own little air filter or even the stock location on the intake duct would effectively be a vacuum leak, if i'm not mistaken.
Thanks in advance,
~Geoff

This thread is the closest I've found, but they all discuss stock formats that can hook up to metered air with MAF/AFM:

Update: Just got off the phone with Racing Beat, and he said that they are NOT to be hooked up to metered air, but rather vacuum, if anything. Their two conclusions:
1) The megasquirt can compensate for poor atomization at low RPM's, so cap off the injector air bleed nipples
2) Capping off the oil injectors will only increase the amount of oil being injected == safer running engine, so cap them off too.

Further update:
Racing Beat is full of ****. The air bleeds totally hook up to metered air, not vacuum. So says FSM, Haynes (kinda), and factory assembly manual, as well as direct-eyes-on observation of a bone stock setup. It's routed up to a 90* fitting just behind the MAF, right next to the BAC fitting.
We are guessing that ducting to the intake tube should be fine(ish), and if its causing problems I can play around with hooking it up to a solenoid valve and using a spare output to control it or something.

Yeah, the FSM is pretty clear that the metering oil nozzles and fuel bleeds connect to a nipple before the throttle body.
Don't worry about creating air leaks with it. The "leaks" will be there from the beginning and be incorporated in your tune. You can forget they exist.
