ms1 to ms2 what should I buy

So I will be having a professional help me change my ms1 3.0 to a ms2. I know nothing computer related, but I know how to do other stuff.

I need to know what I should buy. I already showed my friend a picture and he said my computer was able to upgrade. I also wanted to run the electronic boost control

so for ms1 to ms2, all I need is this and some wiring?
CPU - MegaSquirt-II Daughterboard DIYAutoTune.com

For the boost control I saw these parts.
EBC Electronic Boost Control Solenoid Kit DIYAutoTune.com
PCBv3 and v2.2 -- Boost Control Mod-Kit DIYAutoTune.com

Do I need this? I was a little confused about this part. So I need to buy a gm boost sensor that is not sold on the website? GM Boost Control Connector w/ 6" Pigtail DIYAutoTune.com

Any help would be appreciated. I feel so helpless when it comes to computers, but I have no problem working on cars properly and fabricating. I need to go to ecu school. Anyone know any good websites?

I just saw the thread about going ms1 to ms3, is that what you are talking about?
I did a quick read on it and it looks like you purchase these few things. I will have to double check with the person that is helping me. He knows his stuff, but I don't believe he is aware of people going ms1 to ms3 yet.

MegaSquirt-III daughterboard kit DIYAutoTune.com
MegaSquirt-III MS3X Expansion Card DIYAutoTune.com
MegaSquirt-III V3.0 Black Andoized Case DIYAutoTune.com

My problem is the lack of computer knowledge, so I would have to ask my friend. Anyone know anybody in CA that would be good to go to? I would be willing to pay the person for their troubles.

Yup that's what I'm talking about. Show him the video and that should be all he needs to get started. There would be some changes to the wiring if you want to take full advantage of the ms3/ms3x but they should be easy if he has worked with MS before.

I'd suggest MS3 as well. You can run the CPU in upgrade mode without the MS3X daughtercard and still get all the software improvements. Just no sequential ignition and all the extra I/O the MS3X supplies.

Well right now I already have the ms1, I'm thinking about just buying the ms2 daughterboard and boost controller. With my limited knowledge, I won't be doing much more after the tune. I don't mind running extra rich if it means another dollar on fuel over $$$$ another long block.

In the near future, I have all the parts already except seals, what would be the advantages of a ms3 if i built Mr next 13bt 9.4:1 compression, mild to medium street port, twin entry gtx35r? If I really feel like getting hated on this forum, gtx30r. Basically I want awesome response on low and mid range power, high rpm is always a bonus. I was going to tell my tuner to run extra c fuel just in case anyways.
