tuning decel and IAC

I finally got my GSL-SE back to road-worthy shape so now I'm back to tuning it. It's super-duper pig rich but (wideband+AFR target tables)**autotune == happiness. What I'm confused and frustrated with is how I will need to adjust my decel. I've got a 9.5# flywheel so the engine decellerates pretty quickly with no load. In fact it decellerates fast enough that it usually stalls. I can often prevent that by letting the car coast with no throttle input for a few seconds. What should I look at and which parameters should I be adjusting once I get my VE tables stable?

I would use advance and fuel to keep it from stalling, and possibly an idle valve.

Usually the trick is to open up the idle valve really far, run a little rich on the upper left side of your idle in the table, and have advance go up slightly on that side as well...

The trick is that the idle valve "catches" the idle, and then slowly brings the rpms back down to idle, and the slight bit of extra fuel and advance allow the engine to make a little more power there, which can help keep it from stalling.

Darn it, those stupid details I keep forgetting. Don't you all have my setup memorized yet?!

My car is a 84 GSL-SE, stock injectors, MS v1.01 with the flyback and zener mods. My intake is a S4 intake with the stock Mazda IAC solenoid. I'm using the stock dizzy and ignition so I'm not controlling ignitioin through the MS just yet.

As always, I'm open to suggestions.
