Megasquirt tunes for semi p-port MS2-extra ??

tunes for semi p-port MS2-extra ??
hi guys, I am using MS2-extra, on a semi p-port 13b, single throttle body, two injectors per rotor, 36-1 crank wheel, I am just setting it up, does anyone have a tune ready near this set up, to get me going, or any advise? thanks.

not advise but rather suggestion, I had the car idling today, of coarse it was shitty I think i need to correct my (36-1)wheel timing, sounded like it was off by much. and need to work on the setting too.

my ignition timing is right on, maybe a little bit early, I am using at the moment the manual ignition set up, with the distributor. also I closed the p-port at the moment, I want to get the car running right with regular ports first, they are not really regular they area pretty large. anyhow I can get it to idle, but like this - bra, bra, bra, with p-port open it would be worse. but I think my MS is not set up properly.
uploaded MS2/Extra 3.4.0 release Firmware from up here. this is what I was using. I read up on ms web that for rotary set up you can use (4 piston, 4 stroke) settings, you gotta increase the engine size up to 2.6L but it also uses 4 injectors, and I am not clear on how to set the timing on the injectors, because 4 cylinder engines intakes differently. is there a way to set everything from the ms? as for this firmware some options are absent as well, and it is based on 4cyl engine, 4 stroke.
I think it would be much handy or easier, simpler, if it was based on two stroke engine with 2 cyl 180* apart with single or staged two injectors per cyl, this is how I was picturing to set it up before I got my hands dipped in it.
how do I set my injectors fire at 180* apart from each other? and I would like to stage the other two later on. also is there a way to correct the degree of the injector opening on the MS using this firmware that is on this website?
another problem I have with 36-1 wheel or sensor probably, the problem is if I crank it, it does pick up at say.... 0 to 100 cranks and then it dies till about 1000rpm and anything from 1000rpm and up it is working good till red line, if I change polarity on the sensor, it has no problem but anything after 4500-5000rpm it stops working, the rpm needle on my monitor falls to zero and picks up from below 5000rpm and works fine. I am using ford vr sensor, this particular one Ford uses on the crank wheel with teeth, maybe I need to calibrate this thing? not sure what to do about it.

Assuming you are using staged injection, then injector setup is 2 injectors in "Engine Constants".
Looking at settings for 3.4.0, it supports the "rotary" option in Engine Constants.
Based on messing with the default MSQ supplied via that firmware, it doesn't seem like injector bank timing can be controlled independently when staged injection is enabled. The injector timing table (under 3D Tuning Maps) applies to all injection events and the timing table 2 & 3 aren't available.
If you want to individually control injectors you need MS3.
Right now don't concentrate on injector timing though. Get the car running well and tuned. Then once everything else is set up, work with injector timing to see if there is a gain. I don't expect you to see any gains at WOT at high RPM. Where it will make a difference is at idle and low load. In that case it's fairly easy to tune. Just start moving injector timing until the AFRs richen up. You've now found the most efficient injection time from a fuel efficiency stand point. Then back off on the VE table to bring the AFRs back in line.
With the correct injector time on my crappy Microtech LT8s, I can idle my Bridgeport in the low to mid 14s.

to answer the first question.. I am using 36-1 because my car is modified to the point that it doesn't have anything original and 36-1 was I think the best option to go with. also it started to be with the carb and manual ignition, eventually if everything goes well I would like to make the computer to control the ignition timing, but at the moment I am taking smaller steps and one at the time, I would like to get it running by the computer first.
I didn't have time to play with the settings and see if I it would be able to work with rotary based setting.
I have few questions, one is that if I use rotary settings, what is the best set up of the 36-1 gear in regard with TDC?
second question regarding my 36-1 VR sensor, did anyone have any cases that the pules was too strong that it would interfere with MS counting at certain RPM that it may of had to be used with resistor or something would need to be used with? it has a problem with something there.
Aaron, how about controlling second set of injectors by passing the positive current through a relay that say.. MS will activate at certain rpm, it would be like on and off switch, would the transaction from 2 to 4 injectors be not too smooth, I mean you think it will work, can MS manage this step in maintaining a proper mixture in the rapid step up?

**** I have played with it again, I tried the the rotary set up and the two stroke, having problems with it, the only way it seam to work is with 4 stroke 4 cyl.

Post your MSQ file.
Correct settings are rotary, 2 cylinder, 2 injector.
Then set up staging as normal.

For the newest MS2 firmware, it's a bit of a mixture between MS2 and MS3 so you'll need to look at both of those links.
I didn't use high impedance injectors because back when I built my RX-7, large high impedance injectors weren't available. Also it matters not with the Microtech as its drivers can handle both high and low, and its crude algorithm doesn't have enough resolution for fine control.
Correct settings are rotary, 2 cylinder, 2 injector.
Then set up staging as normal.
