OK, my beta version expired, so I clicked on the link to go to the website and download the latest version. it takes me to the version 0.989.7 version (I am on a PC running vista) it loads, it runs the install, and then when I try to open tunerstudio, it gives me the same pop up telling me that my version is expired. I tried restarting the computer with no difference. any ideas?

 

try going to the help window and letting it update for you instead.

i did that before it expired, and everytime I got on, it still would pop up and say that the version was about to expire, but now, I cant even open tunerstudio to get to the help window.

 

Phil (the author) has advised elsewhere that TS under Vista and Win7 should work properly regarding updates if you set it to "Run as administrator" under right click/properties. I'm pretty sure he states that you can uninstall and reinstall without losing your data files. This has worked for me after a Vista->Win 7 upgrade scenario. As always, YMMV, disclaimers, etc., back your stuff up, etc.

I got it working, I had to delete every copy of tunerstudio that I had, clear my internet downloads, and reinstall. now it works. thanks
