Smile time to give back

first i want to thank everybody that help me get this project done
it would have been imposible to do this without u guys and all the info in the net..


any who i just wanted to let every body know that i got lots of info and this setup
(megasquirt) and u guys are welcome to it

im running a megasquirt v2.2 with the extra code on an 87 fc tII
and i have
wiring diagrams and locations
fuel maps u can use as a starting point
spark maps
diagrams to make the extra outputs like boost control and nos or water inj out of radioshack stuff
alot of knowledge on the s4 and s5 fc stock or ms
troubleshooting
and Kpa conversion tables
also ive heard people having a hard time with getting the fuel pump to work with the ms well i know the wires to tap into


i used my stock harness and conecctors to hook my ms in the car , i used a mk3
ecu(toyota supra) and gutted it out to put my ms in it the connectors are the same
and i just placed the wires where i needed them to work for my stock harness
also made my own hardware to have the boost control and ic sprayer right now ive put almost 1k miles on the car with the ms and went out of town in it and it works perfect only one thing when i travel i have to stop some times to reset the
baro since i dont have the extra map sensor to aoutomaticly update my baro pressure. right now im making my own harness to eleminate the wires i dont need since the ford company that makes the harnesses for their cars is near by
i can buy scrap conectors and wires to make it

well if any body has a question for me ill take some time (like u guys did) and try to help as much as i can

were you able to get a copy of your maps that i could look at (spark and fuel) and maybe some of your other settings, also which wires did you tap into to get the fuel pump working, i'm getting ready to fire mine up and i want to make sure i'm going to have everything working right.

I would also be interested in any TII megasquirt maps for an S4 I have been working on this one for and I have been having mad trouble with the ignition. So if you could help me with maps that would be one step ahead. You can pm me if you want.

Not to be an *** but I find it amusing that someone posts about wanting to help others out and 4 months later has still not offered any help. One of the things I like most about this forum is that maps, timing, and other values are not considered the "caramilk" secret. I guess thats the difference with the MS crowd, most of us understand 1 setup may work great in 1 particular car and not work at all in another. I also guess thats the constant battle for Renns, muy and others convincing people that you have to have an understanding of just what it is your doing instead of just putting values in boxes and clicking 'Ok'. Understanding is what makes all the difference in the world when it comes to getting good results form your megasquirt. On that note, I'd like to thank Ken and Roger and the many others than have helped me along the path Thanks!!
