Tach content: No tach on the dash, but it's there in Megatune

The title kind of says it, I've got no tach on the dash, but it's there in Megatune (And sounds/seems accurate).

I just tapped off the wire @ the coils for the MS signal, and left it connected, and I'm assuming there's something obvious that I missed.

Any of you guys have an idea?

Thanks!

The stock, dashboard tach is driven off of the trailing coil; if the trailing coil isn't firing, then you won't get any tach signal

Yeah, that's the wire that I tapped to get signal to the Megasquirt, but it's still connected leading into the dash harness...

So you are triggering the Megasquirt via the tach lead?

Did the connector become damaged during the wiring process?

Aaron - Correct, I actually cut the wire coming off of the coil, and crimped in a splice that splits off to the dash and to the megasquirt: ---< in ASCII wiring diagram parlance
