stock S5 TPS adjustment?? with mega
ok my tps is acting up all funny on my stock ecu to i unhooked it.
im hoping to use it on my megasquirt system how should i set the sensor? should i make it 0 ohms at "idle/therottle off position" and just make sure it sweeps ok? or is there an other trick i need to do with it? and do i need both of the sensors or just the one?

well, there really isnt any specific adjustment that you need to do, outside of the TPS calibration within megatune anyway. However, you do need to make sure that it sweeps smoothly and doesnt have any flat spots, since over time the plungers will begin to wear out and you'll lose continuity at certain places.

You don't really need to do any TPS adjustment on the physical TPS. It is all done via software. I do find it useful to turn the screw all the way for just a bit more resolution though, but this is far from required.
SWEET i take it thats the same thing with the intake temp and water temp sensor?? i can just tell it today the car is off and its 30C out side so set temp to 30C.?

There is a calibration screen in megatune, you'll have to look up the values for the RX7's sensors and input them, and then it'll do the calibration.
It's 3 temperatures and three corresponding resistances per sensor:
MAT (stock one in the intake manifold):
You'll want a different bias resistor, between 30k and 50k works:
20C, 41500
50C, 11850
85C, 3500
CLT:
-20C, 16200
20C, 2450
80C, 320

Yes...Or you can use the GM sensors. Either way.
I have a habit of using the GM sensors, but that habit comes from the MS1 where using a different temp sensor is annoying.
