so dj55b is off to Florida for a fuji racing show with his ITB's he is 4 hours away from home and his megasquirt started restarting when he would hit bumps, now he texted me and says its doing it standing still now?? any one have any advice on what to look for or what might be causing this? could 2 much heat do that?

 

well he found the problem. it was a bad relay. he is back on the road!

 

glad to see he found it. stuff like that is usually cracked solder joints, loose pins in the DB37, or some other bit of the power supply to the MS (fuse, wiring, relay etc). Best of luck to him!

 

so he called be up 40 min later with a different prob... this time the timing is jumping from 10 to 18. so he figured his cas was to blame. after figuring out what could cause timing to change like that i figured it might be the map something to do with a different altitude then London Ontario and Ohio lol. as it turns out it was pre mix oil in his map causing odd readings he is running ITB's and his vacuum lines are just after his injectors to with time its collecting oil he drained it for 15min and back one the road once more. thanks for the help
