if you're using the missing tooth decoder, you definitely want to use the 024s9 decoder... the 025 decoder won't work.

Ok, got ya!! I will re-do that part of it and see what happens. Could you mabe elaborate on why the later versions won't work?

the 025 decoder with missing teeth does a running average on the tooth times... but with only 12 teeth the counter for tooth times is in 1/10 ms units instead of usec units... there is probably something weird going on in the tooth time averaging calcs that cause this to be a problem.... the 025 decoder should really only be used on 36-1 wheels or 60-2 wheels.

I haven't actually sat down to try to figure out what specifically is causing the problem... I'd have to do the calcs by hand and see what specifically is going wrong... but the 024s9 decoder without the averaging is actually more accurate with varying engine speed. 025 was only done to help get rid of noise on James's (jsmcortina, the guy that wrote most of msns-extra) 36-1 setup.

if you're using 029q2 it's there, it's on every version since 024s9 as far as I know, it's selectable in 029q2 in the wheel decoder settings.
