I had it running as it should, all 4 plugs working, trailing ones were following the split map, everything was perfect, but somehow the ecu died, so I took a new one, loaded the latest MS2 firmware, car is running, but only on the leading plugs.. if I turn rotary mode off I can test all 4 outputs with the output test and they are working, but as soon as I turn rotary mode on, I only get CoilA and CoilB working, CoilB is firing on output D..

I know I can run no split, but it's really fustrating that it did actually work and now I spent more than a day on it trying every firmware and every setting

what is also strange if I use FD mode and turn RX8 mode off I get all coils in the output test mode firing on ign outputA, same when I use FC mode with rx8 mode off..

anyone have some ideas on how to solve this? I think it's software related as I can have al plug firing in the output test mode if I disable rotary mode..

Did you reboot after setting rotary mode?

Yes, I tried with ms2 2.0.1 and with 2.1.0d, no difference.. it's so fustrating as I tried every single setting I could..

I'll attach the msq, hopefully someone can find something wrong with it.. I'm starting to lose hope as it was working fine before and now I spent almost two days trying to solve the problem with no luck

Thanks!

The following reason was given for the disapproval:

The message contains links to illegal or pirated software.

KDFI is an illegal copy of Megasquirt. You are not permitted to discuss it
here.
This message I got when posting on the msextra forum.. I want to say by this way that I did no know at the moment I bought the kdfi that it was a ripp off from megasquirt, I bought it because friend who use lpg alot said it worked well and was easier to use than a ms..

Now in the end after all the hassle I've went trough I feel really bad that I chose for the kdfi, but there's no way back and I have to try to make the best of it..

problem I had with the kdfi
-when trying to run the car with the FC cas had a hard time to find out were to connect the lm1815 output
-usb comm died, had to make max232 circuit to make it work over serial comm
-not enough aux outputs to drive the "3stage" intake manifold
-JAW spikes terrible, when I used a capacitor it worked fine but some time later it just died, no more heating of the LSU
-ign outputs B, C and D died, I was using the ms2 outputs directly to drive the LS2 coils, as specified in the manual so I have no clue why

but setting this aside I really hope to be able to run the trailing coils

Hello,

Finally had it mapped running no split, we made around 170kW at the wheels so I'm happy with the result, we couldn't finetune it completely due the wheelspin and inaquadate cooling, but it's running high 11's with airfilter and low 13's without airfilter so it seems there can be done some improvement
