Need help and tips for microsqurt v3 on s4 t2

Don't know much about standalones so coming here for help had a rtek2.1 before, its a 13bt, very large street port, 1000cc prim and sec injectors, basically a stage 3 bnr turbo (using a Garrett .60 ar compressor and wheel. Plan on running 14psi on 93 and premix couple questions, using a micro v3. Using a gm map, and ls coil, want to use the stock cas for ignition/timing biggest question is tps, not sure what to do about that, the guy tuning it says I need a full range tps to tune it, but I know the s4 isn't.. That's the only thing stopping me from getting my car tuned, have a event on the 25th and trying to get this car finished. Also any idea on how the coils should be wired?

You don't need a full range TPS. Use the S4 TPS and then tune AE only in the range TPS provides, or tune AE as blended TPS/MAP.

The Microsquirt has only two ignition outputs. You cannot run trailing. The CAS on the Microsquirt wires in exactly the same way as the CAS on the V3. 24 tooth wheel to VR1, 2 tooth to VR2.

Note the Microsquirt also only drives high impedance injectors.

I being using the Microsquirt in rotarys for years,I run leading and trailing with 4 individual individual coils(ls2). You just have to add a pull up resistor(1k) to Wled and Aled. Also, you have to add a 1k shunt resistor to vr1 and vr2.I have cars with this setup with more than 750hp @ 38 psi of boost.

So you've modified the board like we had to do with the previous versions? Didn't think of that. Then break the connections out to another harness.

I guess if one just needs a basic ECU without any spare I/O, then that's a good option.

I didn't modify the board just some resistors in the harness

One option would be to find an S5 TII throttle body and use just the full range TPS.

Another option is to modify the throttle body to accept another manufactuers TPS. I have a Ford full range TPS on my modified S5 TII TB. The only modifications were making a thin sheet metal bracket to mount it, and cutting 2 notches in the throttle shaft to mate up to the Ford TPS. Works great with the MS.
