MS3X not getting FuelLoad change in %baro

Hoping Mui can help me out with this one.

I got my car started Friday, 13B, single turbo, xcessive LIM, stock throttle body

I'm running MS3/3X w/ Mapdaddy 4bar/built in baro, only stock sensor I'm using is the TPS. Everything is brand new.

My MAP feed from the engine is still ported to the nipple directly behind the primary throttle plate on the UIM, where the stock MAP senses from.

When I started the car, and it had been running for a couple minutes, long enough to see vacuum on my boost gauge, my fuelload was still sitting right at 95~102%, RPM tracked cell to cell just fine, but couldn't get anything change fuelload.

I brought up just the MAP on another gauge, and it was fine at 60kpa-ish.

So any ideas what could be causing this? I won't be able to look at the ecu for a while as the car is in transit to the UK shortly.

Thanks in advance guys, I'll probably throw this question on the ms forum too.

Muythai, maybe you can take a look soon? Just got the car here to the UK today, and I want to get this sorted before I begin/continue tuning.

Took a quick log up to normal temp.

Stupid forum, wont let me upload msl or msq. Please check Megasquirt MSEXTRA / MS3EFI • MS3/3X w/ Mapdaddy 4-bar/%baro - no fuelload chg (View topic)

I don't see anything that jumps out at me as wrong in your msq.

Have you tried just using 1 MAP sensor for load and disabling baro to see if you can get it to work?

So I think I know what you need to do:

Realtime Baro port set to Mainboard
MAP sensor type set to voltage
Voltage input port set to JS5
2nd MAP port set to Off

That should do what you're trying to do.

Note that I couldn't test this, I don't have anything set up with real-time baro.

I had tried to change to just Speed Density, and it works fine, I would just like to solve the issue with the second MAP.

I'll try that this evening, as I've just gotten to work.

Thanks!

percent baro uses baro in the load calc, so it might do weird things if both the barometric pressure sensor and the MAP sensor are the "mainboard" sensor.

My instructions in my last post should fix it for you if I'm reading the code correctly.

Yes, that was the issue. Guess I was a bit loopy when doing my config.

Free-revs up to 5k now, but I guess this may be due to it being a fresh engine, I'm seeing down to 17kPa on engine decel.

What happens at 5k? Do you have a log? I think the settings for map and baro were confusing, so we made a change to how those settings are presented to the user, and we are making the config you entered cause a config error. So you have accidentally made a helpful contribution to development!

I had only cleaned it up through 5k due to not wanting to peeve my neighbors. The car won't be street legal here for a couple months and then I can get some more tuning done before getting on the dyno or taking it to the dragstrip. I'll post my current log tonight.
