Hey all, I was going through some recent posts and it looks like most people are using the microsquirt with stock FC coils in wasted spark. I have 4 LS coils laying here I'd like to use instead. This is not a RX7 so mounting those coils is a pain and wasted effort.
It appears the microsquirt manual is incorrect in labeling the select/trigger for the trailing coil.
What I'm here to ask is if the RX8 mode is confirmed correct?
Below is the microsquirt firing order.
and here is the ms3pro firing order (used on my 20b).
Note it wants the order to be all the leading, before the trailings.
I'm planning to use a microsquirt for ignition-only on my 12a FB with a 2nd gen CAS, and 4x Rx8 coils.
I saw the first chart you posted, but somehow that disagrees with the second screenshot.
So... Which is it? Is Spark B "Front Trailing" or "Rear Leading"?
Those are very different things and i'd imagine we'd be in for some damage if wired wrong...
Edit: I missed that the second screenshot was for a different controller - the ms3pro instead of the microsquirt. That's what got me confused.
