ok so I was wondering now to run a Megasquirt on a almost Stock FD REW. the twins have been paralleled, I'm running a modded 12a front cover with an oil line for the twins with a T2 CAS and a GSL-SE oil pan. other then that its stock. its going into a 85 1st gen

can anyone tell me a good way to wire it and a good start up tune?

 

Really you should be able to follow aaron cake's howto at the top of this section.

 

the only thing do FD's have a BAC??? and I still need a start up tune

 

I don't know if they have a BAC but I'd assume they have some way to control idle speed.

They call it the ISC on FD's, works the same way.

 

The FD BAC is mounted on the bottom of the upper intake manifold. Same settings as FC unit.

The coils are different on the FD so either use 2nd gen ignition coils (better then FD units) or make sure to set "FD trailing" in rotary settings.
