MegaSquirt I default and custom settings

I just got a Megasquirt I from a friend and managed to get it working and the stimulator working as well. Does anyone have any info, suggestions, instruction advice for installing this into a 1985 SE with a 13B? Any help with the cable adapter to the stock connectors? My 13B has headers w/2 1/4" exhaust, stock InTake ThrottleBody and Air Box, K&N Filter, adjustable fuel pressure. Any help from you guys is certainly appreciated.

I just got finish with a 13bt install myself. If you have yet to do the install id advise trying to do the extra VR input. It will allow you to install the megasquirt without having to take out and modify your CAS. Also unless your connectors are in real good condition you might want to buy new connectors. As for as settings go just look at the FAQ and follow what is said there and you should be fine.

As you have a running 13B in an GSL-SE, I assume it's still stock distributor ignition? If so, leave that as-is for the time being, and wire up MS to replace the stock fuel-only ecu. To do a really nice job, grab a spare stock ecu, gut it, and make up an adapter to go from the stock harness connectors on the ecu side to the DB37 on the MS. Then you'll be able to switch back and forth as needed until you debug the system. An evening with the Factory Service Manual wiring diagrams, and MS DB37 pinout, and you should be able to figure it all out.

Thanks for the advice, makes me feel a little better that the thing is working and I can figure the harness myself. I just thought someone may have already made up an adapter schematic for an 85 SE? Figured enough guys already tried this? If not, I am willing to create one? I have autocad and enough graphics ability to make a drawing of my creation? Already have 1/2 half of the cable from the previous owner and I stole the connectors off of another ECU, just need to solder them in. Hope this works out like I planned! lol
