Megasquirt magasquirt questions.
magasquirt questions.
I want to put a magasquirt ecu in my car and I read aaron cakes how to on installing it,and I have some questions.are all the wires needed for installation on the maga squirt harness for the fuel pump and to wire in the wide band and stuff like that, how can I use the stock tps if when the throtle body is a third of the way open its already all the way out,and the part about adding a 4 connducter sheilded cas pick up wire confusid me a little I geuss if all the wires needed are in the maga squirt harness I can figure it out in the wireing diagram.

Seriously, periods, punctuation and sentence structure.
Makes a post a hell of a lot easier to read and means you get better answers.
As shown in my writeup, you'll need to add some of the wiring for the fuel pump. The Megasquirt harness from DIY only provides the fuel pump trigger wire. You'll need to run your own wires to the pump, provide your own relay, and wire it up.
You will need to wire in your own wideband with the appropriate relay and fuse. My writeup covers this. Only an oxygen sensor input wire is provided by the Megasquirt harness.
The 1/4 range TPS is a bit of a disadvantage, but will work fine for the Megasquirt. The TPS is mainly used for accel enrichment, flood clear, and to tell the ECU when the car is at idle (for BAC activation, among other things). It is easy to retrofit a full range TPS so I'd suggest taking that approach. Failing that, the stock TPS will do the job.
My writeup needs to be updated regarding the shielded CAS wires. The new harness from DIY includes a twisted pair wire in place of the old single shielded wire they used to use. So all you have to do is add another twisted pair shielded wire, basically following the instructions in my writeup. If you are using MS3X, then you will need to replace the unshielded cam input wire on that harness with a shielded twisted pair wire for the CAS. I've not updated for the MS3X yet because I don't have one to use for pictures and such. When I get to that point in my Cosmo, I'll be making those updates.
The new DIY harness includes all the wires you'll need except the CAS wire. And if you go MS3X, then all the wires necessary are on the MS3X harness minus the shielded CAS wire.

Well do you know where I can find a full range tps that will work on my s4 na tb? Your write up also says to run the map sencor vac line to the ecu but in all the pictures I have seen of this ecu I havent seen a place to put a vac line, because i have seen on haltechs they have a vac nipple coming out of the body of the ecu for an on bord map sencor.

The little round Ford TPSs that Haltech users generally upgrade to (see the Haltech forum) are probably the easiest to retrofit. It just requires making a bracket and grinding the nut on the throttle body shaft to fit the TPS.
Im gunna chime in with semi proper grammar and punctuation.
I still am not understanding the relay board thing or what other wires besides the MS3x harness I will need. Does the harness have the triggers for the fan, pump, ect.
Also how is the electronic boost through the MS? Never really heard anyone using it...

You should ask DIYAutoTune your question about their harness. They have good customer support via email.
I know of several people using the MS's boost control successfully, and I think a few of those are using it on rx7s.
