loosing teeth-cas - HELP

i tried looking threw the faq about steps on how to do the crank angle sensor mod.

aparently i have to nock out 2 teeth oposing eachother in the crank angle sensor so the ecu can read it properly.
but then how do i adjust timeing. re-calibrate?

i have a 13b re engine with s6 harness and ecu. i am selling the chipped s6 ecu and putting on a megasquirt . then intigrating it in with my dash harness for my s4.

i need some detailed help with this wireing from some one that knows alot about it and is good at explaning.

i do understand i need to use the servise manual. but i do realy need an advokat in this.

thank you for your time

really before she tries knocking teeth off, as i recall the only teeth that can be removed anyways are below the leading trigger and the bottom teeth would be tough to get to and are thick solid metal.

i just realized. s6 engines do not have CAS. no modifying required.

the fact none of you realized that , maybe you all might as well be spelling poorly aswell.

check with the 3rd gen guys, i doubt many if any have installed a megasquirt on a 3rd gen though so you're probably on your own.

i think your best bet would not be using megasquirt for this project. Youve spent money on the engine, why not spend the money on a decent ecu that is far more well documented to run on your application than a megasquirt. it reduce your downtime and hours worked.
never saw it in your engine post but you are changing out your drivetrain right?

Yeah, I think you're headed into uncharted territory with the MS on your s6. Regardless, I am interested on seeing how this works out! Good luck on your project.

there is a site saying i can run a s4-s5 tii ecu. i'll just set it up as such. and use the megasquirt as so. i've heard that if i use the tii ecu it will run lean and i must use a safc. this megasquirt will act as my safc.
i am changing my full drive train to tii.

the engine is being given to me by a good friend in california who works with nisauns. has no need for the 13b re. so he's going to let me have it for a low cost because he knows my situation
if the cosmo can run with an s4 or s5 ecu. then it can run fine with a megasquirt.

i just need to find people that have done this swap befor.

there actually is one person who is working on getting his 3rd gen running on megasquirt... and there's no reason why it shouldn't be able to work.

I haven't heard from him in a while, but I was helping him get it to work.

Oh, and for an S4/S5 CAS, you don't need to cut teeth out.
