loaded someone elses msq file now no rpms

I am V3 MS2

so like the title says, I loaded someone else's msq file just to take a look at it now when I am testing with my jimstim I cant change the rpm. I went through all the settings but couldnt seem to find anything.

Where do I find the default msq file?...

Your new msq has something inconsistent with the default trigger scheme, most likely. There are multiple ways it can be in error. Different firmware version, different ignition trigger settings, a very long list. What's in the new msq that you want? Fuel and ignition tables can be transparently moved between versions if they have the same geometry via .vex files - see "Export Vex" options. A standard stim replicates ignition trigger pulses from a coil negative. It does not replicate the CAS signals, etc. Ther eis a stim for this (JimStim) but that's a whole new thread. My SWAG (Sill Wild A$$ed Guess) is that the msq in question is looking for a different trigger scheme than the default code.

Yeah i have a jim stim.

I dont think its the msq because it has happened with different msq files.

i've had that happen to me too. i was only able to get it to keep displaying RPMs by re-flashing, and then building the msq from scratch. You can export and import the tables, making it a little bit easier anyway. Make sure you're using the 2.1xxx beta or alpha
