well I don't really know what's causing your problem.

If I had to guess though I'd say that your startup enrichments are at least in the right ballpark, and your fuel map is WAY out. What are the other modifications to the car? (injectors, porting, etc, etc, etc) Is this a fresh motor?

And anyways, I sympathize with you and wish you good luck - once the people that know what they're talking about come on and look at your map hopefully they'll offer some insight. My car drove me crazy all summer and I just recently got it all working proper.

I might have said this before, but I'll say it again... most likely you're stalling because of going lean... start out by increasing your req_fuel until the car stays running... then you can rescale the table and reset req_fuel.

You didn't set your afterstart enrichments.

when you say "increasing the fuel" you mean req fuel?

Please post your msq.

alright. will look around..

11.2 for req_fuel might not have been high enough by the way if you started with a megatune-generated map.

the motor is fresh of 3000 miles ago. no emisions to4e with front mount. warbo 255 pump. 550 primary injectors, 1000 sec injectors. no bac or any idle controling device. big street port on the motor with 2 mm ra seals. 3 " strait pipe exhaust and open wastegate. thats the only thing that i can think for mods that can relate to the megasquirt. need help need to get it running enough to drive it 5 miles to where i am storing while i am going to school.

If you have no BAC valve, that's going to make it a bit harder to start.

With tofuball's 'vert, we originally weren't controlling the BAC, and starting was considerably harder than after we got the BAC working.

Try holding the throttle open just enough to avoid flood clear coming on, or disable flood clear altogether by putting "255" in for flood clear.

Then hold the throttle open a little, and crank.

It should start up a bit easier like that than it would if you're just relying on the idle screw to get enough air in there to start.

Also be sure that if you get an "almost start," ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS flood clear after it dies.

I have flood clear disabled on my car because my TPS was being stupid. - I just went to MAPdot which is working reasonably well... but now that I have it tuned right it starts almost instantly whether its cold or hot - except when it's REALLY cold outside. (we've had a few 30* mornings and it's taken a bit longer to catch on those days) But I /always/ start it with my foot about 1/2way down or further.
