High Rpm Missfire

Ok so this is odd tonight I was driving home an warmed up the motor to about 180ish pretty cold night but thats normal for my car. So I was driving spotted a camaro thought I would give it a quick beating. I havent had this problem till tonight I dont know if its just cause how cold it was outside or what. So I got on it first at about 5000k started to stumble like it was missing or bogging. Then pulled second spun an the whole time it was bogging an stubbling. So I thought ok I'll let it go let this dude go on him way cause I'm not going to risk my motor. Drove off an was bummed out.

So I eased into boost a little later still stummbles an felt like it was just to rich. A/f I wasnt really paying attention too. I know it was rich but i wasnt really staring it down. Usally there around 12 11 underboost im not trying to waste fuel an make it retartedly rich. Also Im only at about 8 9 psi. Tomorrow ill post up a datalog an have you all look at it. But for now does anyone have any thoughts.

It's going to be hard to figure out without a datalog.

180 seems a bit low though. Should hover around 185 or so assuming the thermostat works properly.

yeah my gauge is a little off i changed my thermostat to a lower opening one. Because a long time ago when i was street i was having heating problems i think i changed it down to the 170 175 something low like that. But i would say it was about 25 degress outside last night. but im going out now to check some stuff im going to try to turn my fuel down a little

How do you know you are topping out the 550s?

And wait, you don't have upgraded injectors anyway?

It helps to have a datalog if you expect a wiring problem because it would show in the log as a loss of signal.

I didn't blow up my turbo-NA. I blew two transmissions and a rear end, however. Currently waiting on parts for a TII diff swap.

I have a feeling im just running to rich cause i can feel like its kinda loosing power an should be pulling stronger than it should. But sweet i heard that from this kid an was bummed out lol. I should really just post a data logg lol.

Also chad i cleaned them when i did my megasquirt so about 2 months ago. Coils are good leading are ran by msd 6al. an cas wire is sheilded grounded on one end an my main ground is to the block an the battery

Do you have your MSD box connected between the ignitor and coil? If you've just connected the MSD directly to the coil and are triggering with the 'Squirt, then you'll have to make some mods as the MSD box triggers opposite of the stock trailing ignitor.

change your sparkplugs what heatrange sparkplugs are you running? with megasquirt and all sort of tuning parameters the first thing we do is blame it on tuning and or a "problem" with the setup and forget the basics.

try running 7 leading and 9 trailing

Try reducing the buffers in your serial port settings.

Make sure you have the newest Megatune from the MSExtra documentation.

so today that little sun of a bitch came back. An i now know what it is. The way i have my tach set up is i have the stcok an after market. The stock is the trailing coil an the aftermarket is the leading. I was driving down the street an all of a sudden out of the corner of my eye my tach for my leading jumped an went to zero hit a bump turned on bump off. So either i have a cold soilder joint in the ecu. It might be the shitty db37 i have. Ill have to check tomorrow its late dark an cold. so ill check the wiring an ecuy tomorrow for any shorts or crappy connections
