Ok so I am having a major pain in my but right now. I have a half bridge fc with a 2.2v megasquirt the o2y9 i think thats how its spelled out but thats the filmware in it an all that fun stuff.

The problem is this. When i drive the car it runs fine idle is ok for a half bridge. But the main problem is when i hit full boost 12psi i get up to about 6-7300rpm an just cuts out bucks detonates. Then if I pull second it feels like it will boost then just get very sluggish n backfire n buck again. My air fuel is at 10.9 in full boost. I have a good timing map from 13bdarren.

Things i was thinking that it might be,dwell is wrong or there is a different set up for a hbp. Or maybe something else that would cause a ignition mishap in a high rpm tooth settings so on. please can anyone help i hate this

13psi @ 7400rpm is the highest i was able to semi reliably light with factory ignition system.

Consider replacing your BUR7EQ and BUR9EQ for R7420-9.

That will drop the spark gap and keep the resistor $$$$ tho.

 

well see that was the thing is i had a msd on there an it was still doing it. i also have a aem twin fire dont bash on it it hasnt givin me any problems the reason i took it off was cause i couldnt figure out why it was doing this
