Question General Electronics knowledge needed,

K ive got my shopping list together for the VR conditioner.

LM1815 or equivalent (LM1815N etc.)
• 18K resistor
• 82K resistor
• 4.7K resistor x 4
• 1M resistor
• 1K resistor
• 0.01 μF cap
• 330 pF cap (0.00033 μF)
• 0.33 μF cap (Tantalum type - polarised)
• 0.1 uF cap

While looking for these parts on digikey I realized...
There are a million different types of resistors, Some have different material, wattages, voltage, +-1%, 5%... you get the Idea.
I had the same problem with capacitors.

Can anyone shed some light on this situation for me?
If anyone could list part numbers for each Item (except LM1815.. I can handle that one lol) it would help me immensely.

I tried talking with the guys at the local Radio Shack... Wow, wont do that again, They knew less than I did.

1K resistor = 1.0KQBK-ND
300R resistor = 330QBK-ND
18K resistor = 18KQBK-ND
39K resistor = 39KQBK-ND
4K7 resistor = 4.7KQBK-ND
1M resistor = 1MQBK-ND
0.01uF Cap = P3103-ND
0.33uF Cap = P10973-ND
330pF Cap = PS1331J-ND
0.1uF Cap = P10967-ND
LM1815N = LM1815N-ND

digikey numbers taken from http://www.msextra.com/manuals/MS_Ex...nual.htm#2ndVR

this is a quick reply so if you have questions just ask and i will try to help you when i have more time.
