FC to FD ignition conversion?

Have been trying to search, but an unsure what terms I am possibly missing.

Am looking to convert the FC to a FD style of coil firing. Currently, A fires the leading plugs in a wasted spark setup.

according to this post: https://www.msextra.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=581762 the guide for wiring for the megasquirt is incorrect for the FC, trigger and switch are backwards.

What I am wanting to do is convert the trailing plugs into an FD style, so B and C are just triggering each individual one, and not having to deal with the switching input.

Is there any way to convert the existing coil pack to do so, or would it require a second ignitor? Or can it just be wired direct to each coil?

That post was for a microsquirt not a megasquirt. What problem are you having? Banzai racing had a write up on their website on how to convert the FC trailing coil to eliminate the toggle function.

Am guessing it is one of these two then?

Convert two FC trailing coil systems in to working independently FC Coil Installation How To

Remove FC ignitor and use FD one instead FD Igniter Installation How To

With my Miata, I had converted to a coil on plug system, which each one had its own ignitor built in, I might end up just doing that.

Two ways of getting the same result on FC trailing coils...but on the one you need an FD igniter.

Or looks like I need to source a second FC trailing coil to cannibalize it for its igniter, so both of them require extra parts to work.
