Double checking wiring question

I'm finally getting around to setting up my RX with MS.

I'm running MS1 on a V3 board to do fuel and spark with MS&S E.

I'm going to run a modified CAS with two teeth removed so I can run the single VR on the V3 board.

Here is where my questions start:

The car has no wire harness left so I'm starting from scratch.

For input from the CAS, positive goes to pin 24 and neg. goes to pin 7.
Is pin 7 still a ground on the V3 board? And if so, could I just ground to anywhere instead of the extra wire back to the Megasquirt?

On the V3 board do I need to install a jumper from VRIN to TACHSELECT to run this set-up?

Next question is about the outputs. Looking at the diagram, nothing goes to the IGf-T? Just making sure on that one.

As for the outputs, can I run jumpers to the unused IAC points from the LEDs?
Or are they used by MS&S E for something else that I might want?

One thing I did notice in the write-ups, so this post might be helpful to someone else, the LEDs are numbered 14-15-16 on the V3 board not 17-18-19 as they are on the V2.2 board.

I'm running the same setup. I forget about the CAS negative wire, but jumper TSEL to VROUTINV.
As for the ignitor wires, I just ran 3 wires (one from each LED after adding the extra resistors) out to the underside of the DB37 socket where all the pins are soldered. I used pins 3, 4, and 5 for this.

you are correct that IGf-T is not needed.

For the VR- wire, you MUST wire that to the MS. You risk having a noisy signal if you don't, and a noisy signal from the VR circuit is enemy #1 for a megasquirt.

I used the IAC pins for my coil wires.
