Anyone running MS2/E 2.0?

I have been running awesome on 1.0.2 for the last 2 months. I downloaded MS2/E 2.0 beta 16 (20071122) and installed into my MS2. I copied all of my settings from 1.0.2 and put them into 2.0. I moved the output of my 2nd VR circuit from JP4 to JS10. I tried to start the car and the only thing that happened is the gauges on megatune became very erratic during cranking. It got to the point where the MS would no longer respond to megatune so I reloaded the 2.0 firmware and started from scratch. Now when cranking the gauges in megatune go blank, like when the MS disconnects from megatune. I have to turn the key off and back on to get megatune to read the ms. Any time I crank same thing happens, MS stops responding to megatune.

Anyone else had this issue? Is there other things I have to change besides the VR2 output?

Is there something you need that's in 2.0 and not 1.0.2?

I've not yet tested 2.0 in my rx7 yet, but the second trigger settings have changed a bit, as well as most of the rest of the the ignition input code. It's possible there's a bug somewhere. I'll try to run a test this weekend and see if I can find anything. If I find a bug, I'll fix it and release another beta.

Keep in mind that 2.0 is still in beta, so it may have bugs here and there.

After I bench test, I'll let everyone know the results; I intend to run 2.0 on my rx7 as soon as I get another ms2 for permanent installation (right now I just have the one I use for bench testing, which I reconfigure on a fairly regular basis).

There's nothing that I absolutely NEED in 2.0. I wanted to play around with it a bit to get to know the differences. I'm doing an MSII/E on a friends 4G63 soon and was going to use 2.0. I do understand that it's still in beta, I certainly did not expect it to work perfectly. I do have to say, the ability to define injector characteristics per bank would be NICE, especially since I'm using rochester injectors for secondaries.

I changed back to 1.0.2 last night. If I had more time I'd stay on 2.0 and look into the issue, but finals next week prevent me from doing so at this time.

I'm going to do some bench testing today or tomorrow to find out if it's working right or not. The settings from 1.0.2 have changed significantly, so it might just be a settings issue too.

Any idea on whether there was a problem with 2.0 for a rotary?

Ken found a problem with the code that runs the trailing. There's a few other issues I believe he's looking into as well.

Actually, it appears that there are several problems with generic wheels right now. I'm looking into them now.

OK, I believe 2.0b17b should run the rotary engine. I didn't try it in my car, but it looks good on the scope.

I'll look forward to giving it a try after I complete my new engine harness.
