Spending Christmas in PR

hi guys, just wanted to know if it is worth coming over for xmas and new year or if everything is shut and there's no racing? If I stayed for 2 weeks, do you think I'd have a god chance to look around and see some famous RotorMotors?

Cheers
Matt

X-mas is definetly a slow season for racing, last couple of years the Carolina speedway has been closed during X-mas time; don't know about the other raceways

unfortunately the only track to stay opened is Anasco.. "Underground Motorsport Park"

its a 1/8 mile.. and its something really underground.. Its like having street races with xmas tree..

Ok, so what's a good time to come over? January or early December? Always promised myself I'd do something a bit more exciting than the old fashioned British christmas... dosen't look like I've come up with a plan yet though Still definately want to go over to PR, just a matter of when

There's lots of things to do in PR all year long no matter what time you come for vacation if you plan it well you'll have a blast of a time!

I'm gonna have to get an American Visa and that might take a while, so I'm not sure November is gonna be a possibility we're hoping to visit as many Rotary Tuners as we can while we're out there. Desperate to see loads of racing. Is there much on during the week? Street racing worth watching? Thanks for all the help, hopefully we can arrange someting to do/see for everyday of our trip before we leave.

Hey Matt,

Check your email....
I'm going to PR in FEB-MAR 2006 for the Panamerican Nationals (Rotor vs Piston/ Puerto Rico vs USA)
I'm going to cover for RXTuner.com

During those months flights prices are cheaper... plus you will be able to save some $ on hotel stays. I invite you to hang with us... stay in my place.
I will introduce you to great people and legends.... Jorgue "Oso" Juarbe from La Atrevida, Legendary Rafael Rivera "Falito" with both RX7 and RX8, and the great voice of drag racing Hugo Umpierre.
I will have the dates finalized soon.
Let me know,

Vic
