Dee isn't latin but seems to be a friend of the PR rotary community here in the US. This is a prertty impressive run 7.62@174 and looks like he lost some time in the begining of the pass.

yeah dee's car is very impresive indeed. but all he lacks is being consistent in events. but still a very impresive car. I would love to see it in pr one day in a macth race against la sarita or lopez connection

 

Yeah i think he had some issues when he first got started, all the travel and no test and tune really hurt his efforts, but he has run many 7sec passes at numerous tracks all over the US.

I heard there was a promoter from PR that has been communicating with him and he really wants to come down. I talked to him at etown and I think he said he had some family down there like his mother in law or father in law.

He is kinda goofy though he lives his **** open for everyone to see. IT was nice to see a rotary win in the modified class at the nhra finals.

 

That is a badass FD. He seems to be getting faster with each event. He's representing the rotaries and that's cool. He would love racing in P.R.

this car is crazy fast this was at "NOPI X-Box Cup Champion" in norwalk it was the first time i seen it in person and that ****** eclipse is just insane.

 

you have to give to them ... at pomona we race him in the semis we lost to a 7.91 et ..my friend rene has the blue rx3 none back half ..8.90 et was his best for the weekend. i had my first gen rx7 at the event but i had a bad motor rplc before the race. had all the problems... i didn't have a chance to make a single run..we're aslo shooting for the 7 sec slips at 2245 lbs single turbo 13b no nitrous.

He does not use a GT47 he is using a Borq Warner Airwerks, to answer your question fb when i saw the car last time at etown he did not have dual fram rails. He still has the stock fd engine cradle with stock motor mounts.

 

Dee is doing his thing for sure Ihope he doesn't jump over to a 20B like he stated; with some time (this is his first full season out there) I am sure he can run a 7.4!

 

FB Dee already raced the lopez connection car in atco at the nopi event. I'm pretty sure dee got the win on that with a 7.7 to a 8.1 I heard through the rumor mill that dee is putting together a 20b that is why the trip to PR was post poned. Dumb move on his part if it's true.

 

Well, remember that the category he is running now; winners are running consistent 7.4 at least (more like 7.2s). He needs the extra power, however I do believe that setting up the 20B to run like his 13B will take him some time

 

yeah dee raced lopez connection in atco but that was before gaby skern started tunning lopez and way before lopez connection ran a 7.70. now he is consistent in the 7.7's and 7.8's so it would be a good match race. Thanks for the clear up on the turbo. really looks alot like a gt47

 

I personally know Dee... I did a photo shoot of his FD. It will be on RXTuner.com mag next issue.

I will call him this week and encourage him to speak with Joe Sway from Atco and Raymond Lopez from Salinas so that his FD becomes part of the Panamericans for 2006.
