One of my friends works for full race as an engineer. He helps design those crazy turbo manifolds. He said they built that civic for around $4k cuz it was put together with mostly donated parts that were laying around. He said they really didn't care about losing the car cuz it was a half hour of advertising. The RX-7 was a second gen. I wish I saw the episode. He told me he was gonna warn me about when it was gonna be on.

You have to admit that getting 460whp from a D series is quite an accomplishment, and to build an FC able to hang with and even beat that is pretty serious too. Congrats to both teams for building amazing cars.

Hey to the dude with the FC, did you know they were talking a bunch of **** about your car saying it was slow and a POS?
From full race's website:
"It begins. We get on the track, and we are racing a white FC RX7. these guys think this thing is a 9 sec. car or something!!! They really thought it was FAST, I don’t think they realized it was actually a pile of crap."
And:"The white RX7 and pink Civic come back around again. The guy who wins the Civic hops in it to do a burnout/run it down the track, and stalls it. Starts the car again and the car just limps down the track.
What happened to the car?
We think we tore a $6 intercooler coupler! A simple boost leak and the car was making no power, running NA... so even when you think you have your **** together, the simplest and stupidest things go and kick your ***!!

I could have sworn that more than his drive shaft popped out of that hood. How the hell does a driveshaft break, and you have something pop out of the hood? lol

i hope the fc episode is alot better than the one (oh wait make that two, no one.) episode i just watched, because i think i wached 15min of commercials, 2 min of credits, and well, they raced twice in the other 12min =(
on the other hand, whoever came up with the idea of this t.v. show had a great idea. contestents bring the cars, the prize is brought by them also, all pink's has to pay for is track rental (which is only a few thousand for a DAY if its during a week) and then employee's and there recording equipment
