Pinks episode rx-7 vs full race eg hatch
For those in the San Diego area that think its a show car...feel free to come to Qualcomm this Friday to watch it drag race
See, for the most part it has just been a show car because we didn't have the time to go back through the car and fix things from when we first built it. The car was assembled in 4.5 days prior to SEMA '04. After that, we had the Falken FD going on, then traveled with that team all last year. Then there was SEMA '05 in the Haltech booth, so we made it finally run for that, but still had some more things to do prior to tuning. Also a small FIRE in the engine bay 1 day before Sevenstock last year took alot to replace and repair everything. So we finally just got it dyno'd and broken in a couple week ago, and this Friday is the first race we could attend with it since
So, in essence yes, it was a show car, but finally it will be on the track where it belongs...at least for the next 8 days of the auction...if it meets reserve. If not, it will stay with us
I know that there are things on it that alot of people don't like and alot that people do like. There is no FC, or any other car on this earth that has been built like this that every person agrees with. Even Matt, who owns it admits to things he would like to do or change, but those all take time and cash...

Somebody needs to get this episode and throw it up on bittorrent for those of us who
A) can't make the big party
and
B) can't afford cable.
My friend Adam keeps telling me the Speedmachine drag FC is awesome, I'd like to see for myself since I never make it down that way.

+1
We got some video of it today at the shop doing some sliding and sick burnouts. I will update our website with all the info on Monday when we compile some cool shots and videos
Thanks for the compliments everyone. Matt and I worked our asses building that car. I know that alot of people don't care for some or even all the car, but thanks to the people that said it...respectfully (for lack of a better word LOL) Maybe tackful was what I was thinking...anyway
