Smile Murdered a stang ~

Randomly cruising tonight around 25A here on L.I. when I see a stang. I though nothing of it but was boosting my fd on an off just to see if I was spiking with the new controller. My car was acting weird not spooling right (LAG!) etc. Anyways he revs at me at the light so I just figured what the hell so I set my EBS III back to off AKA 7 PSI all day. He rips ahead quick due to almost no spool but after 70 I was neck and an neck and finally murdered him at about 100. My boost kept tapping out so I held it till 120 just to see how it hold. At this point I was gone the stang was no where near me.

Bottom line ~ Killed at 02-04 stang GT with exhaust I guess, @ 7 psi with a Vaccum leak as I found out tonight when I got home.

Mods ~
Pettit Dp
RB CB Dual Tip
HKS intakes
Koyo + Samco hoses
Knightsports EBS III set @ 7psi

25A on the LIE??

I remember that stretch of road when i used to visit my sister in the hamptoms. She lived by route 27 off exit 70 on the LIE.

The highway becomes SWEET as you go up in numbers. From about exit 60-70, the road is clear, straight and even. Lots of cops though but sometimes not.

I miss going to the hamptoms.

nice kill. Its funny, your car is not running 100% and still killed since my conversion, ive enjoyed the highways of long island. lots of vettes, stangs, STI's and EVO's on LIE. and once they see the 7 they always wanna challenge it.

Yea man, What part of L.I are you in. I'm in huntington but I'm all over the place. I would really check out exit 66 on the lie on tuesday nights it's pretty nice as far as racing goes but if your looking for all high end like skylines, MKIV and FD's the source mall on tuesday nights is where it's at.
