I want an S2k for a DD, but I'm realistic about the fact that it's never going to be anywhere near as fast as any running FD.
I'm also realistic about the fact that it's because I own a moderately modified FD that I need a DD. All cars have their place..well most do anyway.
. The hatch will be like $500. The K24/K20 drivetrain 5k-6k. With EMS 2K, ITB's 1.5 K, fuel 1k, and you have an all motor reliable low 10 sec. car for ~10K. Don't get me wrong I love Rex's (hence being on these forums) but I just don't understand why we just can't appreciate someone's effort and achievements. And those K24/K20 hybrids are pretty badass even if they still sound like lawn mowers.

there are quite a few out there. my friend got ticketed for going 215 in his CYM.
In either case, who gives a **** if the car can go over 200mph if it takes 20 minutes go get there? I'll take a 13B-REW over a 2JZ any day of the week. Now, who are you, MR Troll? Possibly from TFL? Or just a troll in general?

. The setup you mentioned above will not even come close to low 10 sec.Not to mention in the end all you have is a completly gutted FWD Honda bucket. I picked up my complete, running FD for 8k.

Or find somebody who just had a kid and needs to get rid of it. I'm not saying it was mint. I even drove from Southern California to Texas and trailered it back. I have seen better steals than the deal i got. But I was happy with what i got. Clean tittle and a straight frame was what was most important to me.

well this thread went 2 **** huh?? lol anywho i own a fd and didnt take offense i didnt seem him saying rx7s sucked or anything, all he said is he walked a fd from 40-100 good kill, i have alot of respect for hondas i have a bunch of friends that runs 11s all motor with a K of course... 2 me fast is fast wether ur goings 10s in a 8k civic 18k rx7, 60k viper etc.... toodles,
