Don't get me wrong I love Rex's (hence being on these forums) but I just don't understand why we just can't appreciate someone's effort and achievements. And those K24/K20 hybrids are pretty badass even if they still sound like lawn mowers.

 

Only if I race the S2k with the 2JZ to 200MPH. 2JZs suck in the low end just like F20cs do.

Sure thats all it takes for a 10 sec car.. The setup you mentioned above will not even come close to low 10 sec.

Not to mention in the end all you have is a completly gutted FWD Honda bucket. I picked up my complete, running FD for 8k.

 

From what I hear, if you got a running FD that isn't ready to pop any second, you got a steal.

 

yeah, that's about accurate. He probably found a good deal from someone who didn't know what they were selling.

 

Or find somebody who just had a kid and needs to get rid of it. I'm not saying it was mint. I even drove from Southern California to Texas and trailered it back. I have seen better steals than the deal i got. But I was happy with what i got. Clean tittle and a straight frame was what was most important to me.
