K20A swapped EG hatch VS FD from a 40-100 twice. Pulled 2 cars on the FD on first try and 1 1/2 on second. I have cams, headers, straight pipe from headers to muffler, intake, Hondata ECU, and AEM fuel rail. IIRC, the FD has PFC, downpipe, and maybe a few minor parts.

I believe it, my little brother has a k20 swapped CRX and I love rotary's, but give props to his car or any k20 damn things are fast. if you ever get to drive one then make a opinion and if you havent then we dont need youre opinions.

hey there's nothing wrong with honda's..It's the ricer's that mess it up for them. My buddy is building a EG coupe H22(not quite a lil bigger)..and he's looking at 680whp est. Still breaking it in so not sure how much he wil have to the wheels. Now that honda is a great car. I've seen STOCK K20 with just fuel rail, intake, headers, and full exhaust putting down 225-235 whp. Put that in a eg and you'll surprise people.

What does a K20 with the mods listed put down at the wheels? Hells Bells guys...ANY car can beat...any...car with more hp on hand. A 700 hp FD will take a Lamborghini Murcielago for example. A 1000 hp Pinto will beat the **** out of both.
If the o.p.'s intent was to just be a troll and stir up ****, I think he'd have gone about differently. Seems as if there is at least on Honda out there that needs to meet up with a more modded FD....lol!

 

I dont know if you all are talking about straight line racing but I believe in a course with corners it all comes down to the driver. I have lost to honda's in an autocross and have beaten honda's. I just think it all comes down to the driver to a certin extent.

I don't care what kind of car it is if it performs. I love my GSL-SE/TII conversion and wouldn't own a FWD Honda, but I did give props to one that outran me. My SE is fast. I've beat a LT1 Z-28, a 350Z, a handful of Hondas( Some turbocharged)and nearly kept up with an STI, but got beat at the street drags by a CRX with a K20/K24 hybrid and I was cool with it. He was a cool guy and had fast car with alot of time spent on its build. If someone builds something that will run fast, who cares what badge it wears. Might not be for me, but nothing to get pissy about.

hondas aren't my cup o' tea but they can be made pretty quick for relatively little money. my buddy used to have a hatch that ran low 11's all day long w/ 362 whp, and built for under 8k (including buying the 99% rust free car)

p.s. whats your idea of a "real rex"? 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gen? either way w/ an LS2 swap i dont think any would qualify as a "real rex" any more

FWIW, I'm no Honda fan. I believe the OP is a troll, but I'd also believe that a built up shitvic could beat a minor bolt on, untuned FD.

I want an S2k for a DD, but I'm realistic about the fact that it's never going to be anywhere near as fast as any running FD. I'm also realistic about the fact that it's because I own a moderately modified FD that I need a DD. All cars have their place..well most do anyway.
