Got killed by a FD...

Ok so here's what happened. I was in my DD(96 civic h22 built, rods pistons, sleeves, etc...15 pounds.) So Im just crusing down 94 towards chicago for those people that live around here. And out of no where this black on black FD with illinois plates pulls next to me. I right away notice that he had no wing and had 99 spec front bumper and tail lights. I couldnt hear much of his car as I was running with open downpipe. I throw a rev at him to see what he does and he looks over and laughs. I smile knowning that he might be whopping me pretty soon...I downshift to 60m.p.h in third gear...and start honking beep beep beep, and I take off. I take it up to 8 grand and slam it into fourth then the inevitable happens....He passes me at 120 like im standing still. 8 grand comes around again and I slam it into 5th and stop at 140 knowing I dont have a chance in hell to catch up. I end up following him to the gas station to talk to him and he shows me his setup...He had a full 20b half bridge 42R full supporting mods and 15 pounds . My car in no way is slow I take down 11 second transam's with easy and his car pulled me worse than bikes...I really need another FD that right there put me to shame. But no matter what I still like to see the faces of the V8 guys when i blow past them in a 4 banger

I did that to two guys in a Mustang GT Vert that made almost 650hp in the C5 2 months ago. Haven't ran into any cars faster than me yet in San Diego, though I've only had the car 3 months, and my friend only had it boosted 4 months before that.

What power is your civic making, and what times can you hit with it? Sounds like a fast car man, if it's taking down 11 second V8's.

Well I havent tooken it to the track yet. But on 12.5 pounds it made 382 whp. and 287 tq. On 15 pounds I should be around 425-450 whp. I have it set to 12.5 pounds but it spikes to 15 from time to time . Im trying to get rid of it along with the GN I need a damn FD once again. That experience taught me that no matter how much money you got into a honda that 7 is going to whoop your *** with the same amount of money.

There'd be cheaper options out there for the FD man.
