a Few Races with the TII

Well I just got my 88 TII a few weeks back and wanted to go out and have some fun with it, my mods are intake, DP, MP ( oh yeah i also have a S5 motor, turbo). First race was against a Mustang GT 5.0 Foxbody, his mods are Intake, headers, Exhaust 3.73 Gears. We go from a 40mph roll, I got the jump because i was right in boost and took off and beat him by maybe less than half a car. The second race we stayed about even up till about 90 then shut down.

Second race was against a 350Z with Intake and Exhaust from a 40mph roll again. well... long story short i lost by about two cars. I need some mods.. lol

i'm guessing i'm running stock boost i dont' have an aftermarket boost gauge yet, and i think i'm running stock injectors. I do have some kind of fuel cut defender ( i remember reading somewhere in the paperwork) but basically i was almost stock when i raced these cars, the only mods that i know of really is that i have a racing beat clutch, an aftermarket downpipe, and midpipe, and my motor is on stock ports.

thanks, i'm pretty confident that i can beat a 350Z once i get a full turboback exhaust ( i think i'm going to go with racingbeat's) and raise to about 10 lbs, and go at it from a roll again... cuz i'm gonna show the Z cars that the 7 can't lose!

Yeah the stock boost gauge doesn't read in PSI, so I have no idea what i'm running now, but i'm pretty sure it's stock.

Get some more fuel and raise the boost, you will Kill the 350z. Many of us do not even find them fun to race. Little to no challenge uness they are nicley moded.
